This pair were the beginning of the 'Dawn' collection as I began waking up at 5:30am to paint.
Created using heavy-body acrylics, I allowed myself to just play across both canvases and enjoy building
layers.
Lustre i and ii are intended to evoke the ethereal feeling of the morning stillness.
You can either get lost in the detail or gaze into the lighter spaces of the pieces, similar to witnessing a sunrise.
